Welcome to the bitter-sweet world of Mercury retrograde.

My name is Elsa 🇮🇸, and I have always had a strong interest in astrology and how the planets influence our lives here on Earth.

Mercury retrograde has played a big role in shaping who I am. As many of you know, Mercury retrograde is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs three times a year when the planet Mercury appears to move backward from our vantage point on Earth. During these periods, communication and technology seem to go haywire.

For me personally, Mercury retrograde has caused no shortage of mix-ups, delays, and general mayhem over the years. Contracts have been lost, emails not received, trips delayed, I broke up and lost my Blackberry (my very first phone, haha!)—you name it. I have lost count of the number of times Mercury retrograde has wreaked havoc in my life. I am a Gemini so the planet Mercury really plays a big role in my life.

This is why I decided to create this website, to share my knowledge of Mercury retrograde and help others navigate these tricky periods a little smoother. I want to explain what actually happens during Mercury retrograde, how to spot the signs, and most importantly, how to minimize the frustrations and disruptions.
